This is how the GEO tool appariq.ai works in practice

Making AI visibility measurable in ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini

Appariq.ai makes visible how often brands are mentioned in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, how strongly competitors are represented, and which prompts trigger this visibility. The analysis includes Share of Voice, mentions, visibility rate, topic clusters, and query details.

For the analysis, prompt and query sets can be imported from multiple sources – for instance, via manual entry, CSV/Excel, SEO keywords, PAA questions, or Google Search Console. This results in a GEO analysis based on real search and query logic rather than hypothetical lists.

The outcome is an operational dashboard for teams that wish to systematically measure and develop AI visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

When GEO topics arrived at our agency, we quickly realised: There is no tool that truly measures what AI systems say about our clients. So we built it ourselves – first for us, then for everyone. Appariq.ai is the tool I wished I had two years ago.

 MEASURING GEO & AI VISIBILITY

Analyse visibility in ChatGPT and Gemini based on data

AI systems like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are changing how brands, content, and providers are discovered. What matters now is not just the traditional search results page, but also whether and how frequently a brand appears in generated responses.

This tool was specifically developed for this purpose: to analyse mentions, share of voice, visibility rates, and competitors in AI responses. The evaluation is complemented by query details, topic clusters, and the comparison between different models.

The analysis becomes particularly practical through the import of real prompt and query sets – for example, from Google Search Console, CSV/Excel, SEO keywords, PAA questions, or manual input.

Prompt import from real data sources

For the analysis, query and prompt sets can be imported from multiple sources – including manual input, CSV/Excel, SEO keywords, PAA questions, and Google Search Console. This means that the GEO evaluation is based on real search and query logic rather than hypothetical lists.

Compare competitors, SOV and mentions

The appariq.ai dashboard shows how visible brands are in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, how strongly competitors are represented, and how Share of Voice, mentions, and visibility rates change over time. This makes differences between brands and models immediately recognisable.

Evaluate query details and topic clusters

In addition to aggregated metrics, individual search queries, topic clusters, and prompt types are analysed. This makes it clear which questions generate presence, where brands are already mentioned, and in which areas there is still potential for GEO.

AI visibility in focus

The dashboard shows how visible brands are in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, how this presence develops over time, and in which areas competitors are more strongly represented. It analyses, among other things, visibility index, share of voice, mentions, and query details based on real search queries/prompts.

Import keywords and prompts flexibly

For the analysis, query sets can be built from various sources – from manual input to CSV/Excel, as well as SEO keywords, PAA questions, and Google Search Console. This creates a robust foundation for measuring AI visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

Curate keywords and prompts cleanly

Imported search queries, keywords, and prompts can be filtered, checked, and specifically selected for the set. This creates a clean foundation for analysing AI visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

Competitors and Share of Voice Comparison

The overview shows which brands are mentioned most frequently in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, how high their Share of Voice is, and how strongly individual competitors are represented in the analysed query sets. This makes market shares, mentions, and visibility differences directly comparable.

Understanding visibility at the query level

The detail view shows which search queries mention a brand, how often mentions occur, and at which position they first appear. This makes visibility patterns, gaps, and potentials at the query level immediately recognisable.

Automation, SEO boost & legal certainty in one tool

More than just a dashboard - operationally utilise AI visibility

AI visibility in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini is becoming increasingly relevant for brands, SEO, and content strategies. The tool provides transparency regarding mentions, share of voice, competitors, and query sets – and makes geo data usable.

Real search logic instead of hypothetical prompts

The analysis is based not only on manually maintained lists. Prompt and query sets can be built from Google Search Console, CSV/Excel, SEO keywords, PAA questions, or manual input .

Directly compare competitors and models

It becomes evident how strongly brands are represented in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, which competitors are mentioned more frequently, and where differences arise between models and topic clusters.

Relevant GEO metrics at a glance

The dashboard consolidates Visibility Score, Share of Voice, visibility rate, mentions, and query details in a structure that is directly usable for SEO, content, and marketing teams.

Flexible for different workflows

Whether individual prompt sets, larger keyword lists, or complete query clusters: The tool is designed for different analysis setups and team workflows.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The following addresses key questions regarding the measurement of AI visibility, the data basis, and product access.

What does the tool measure exactly?

Appariq.ai measures how present a brand is in the responses of ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude – on several levels. The Share of Voice indicates how many analysed search queries mention a brand at all. The First Mention Index indicates how early in a response the first mention occurs – the earlier, the more prominent. The Sentiment assesses whether mentions are positive, neutral, or critical. This is complemented by competitor comparisons, topic clusters and query details, which show where visibility is generated for specific search queries – and where potential still exists.

Why is AI visibility not the same as traditional SEO?

In classic search engine optimisation, the focus is on positions – rank 1, rank 2, rank 3. AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude operate differently: they do not provide a list of links, but rather a direct answer. Therefore, it is no longer just about whether a brand ranks anywhere, but whether it appears in this answer at all, how early it is mentioned, and in what context – positive, neutral, or critical. Additionally, there is the competitive aspect: two brands can be completely differently visible for the same search queries, without traditional ranking tools reflecting this.

What is GEO?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation – that is, optimisation for AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. While traditional SEO aims to rank in search results, GEO focuses on whether and how a brand appears in generated AI responses. This includes content, brand and entity signals, as well as the overall digital presence that AI models use as a source.

Which models is the tool intended for?

Currently, Appariq.ai is analysing the AI visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude – the three most widely used AI systems in the German-speaking region. Coverage of additional models is already in planning.

Can competitors also be analysed?

Yes. Appariq.ai displays a dedicated competitor overview, illustrating how Share of Voice, mentions, and visibility differ between brands in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Depending on the plan, 3 (Basic), 7 (Pro), or 15 (Advanced) direct competitors can be monitored simultaneously – this makes it immediately clear who is mentioned more frequently or earlier in AI responses and where there are gaps in one’s own performance.

What data can be imported?

Appariq.ai supports multiple import methods: Query sets can be created manually, uploaded via CSV/Excel, or imported directly from the Google Search Console. Additionally, SEO keywords, PAA questions, and Bing AI data can be used as a basis for analysis. The Advanced plan also offers import via DataForSEO – including domain keywords and PAA data for even broader coverage.

Who is Appariq.ai intended for?

Freelancers and SEO beginners who want to gain initial experience with AI visibility, in-house marketing and SEO teams in growing companies looking to operationally integrate GEO into their work, as well as agencies and medium-sized enterprises that wish to evaluate AI visibility in a scalable manner for multiple brands and clients and deliver it with white-label reports.

How does access occur?

Access is granted directly via appariq.ai. After free registration, you can test the tool for 14 days – no credit card required, cancellable monthly. Afterwards, there are three plans to choose from: Basic (€ 39/month) for freelancers and small teams, Pro (€ 79/month) for growing businesses and in-house teams, and Advanced (€ 179/month) for agencies and larger SMEs.

How does payment work?

Payment is conveniently made via PayPal subscription. After registration, a 14-day trial period automatically begins – the first charge occurs only afterwards. You can cancel at any time before the 14 days are up, at no cost.

How often is data updated?

This depends on the chosen plan. In the Basic plan, each keyword set is checked once a week, in the Pro plan twice a week, and in the Advanced plan three times a week. This creates a robust data history over time – and changes in AI visibility become apparent early on.

How does the measurement work technically?

Appariq.ai automatically sends the stored search queries and prompts to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, systematically analysing the generated responses. It measures whether a brand appears in the response, the position at which it first appears, and the context in which it is mentioned. These are genuine, live-generated AI responses – no simulated or cached data.

Is Appariq.ai GDPR compliant?

Yes. Appariq.ai operates on European infrastructure and processes data in accordance with the applicable General Data Protection Regulation. Imported data – such as from the Google Search Console – is used solely for analysis and is not shared with third parties. If you have any questions regarding data protection, our team is available at any time.

What is the First Mention Index?

The First Mention Index indicates the character position in an AI response where a brand is first mentioned. A low value means that the brand appears early – thus prominently – in the response. A high value suggests that the mention occurs late, perhaps as a peripheral mention at the end. As a guideline: values below 500 are considered strong, anything above signals potential for optimisation.

How long does it take for the first results to be visible?

After registration and the creation of an initial keyword set, the analysis starts automatically. Initial results are usually available within a few hours. For meaningful trends and a reliable data history, we recommend running the tool for at least two to four weeks.
