We implement it ourselves

You do not need an additional development agency. Our team includes two full-stack developers. We work on titles, redirects, structured data, loading time, templates and plugins ourselves. Only on hosting questions do we coordinate with your provider.

Test first, then go live

Every change is made on a staging copy, backed up, checked and logged. You see in advance what changes and decide on the go-live.

With AI search in mind

Clean HTML, structured data and clear author details also help AI systems to read your content correctly. This links WordPress SEO with GEO.

Theme and loading time

We check what the theme loads, which scripts slow down rendering and how images are delivered. The aim is good Core Web Vitals, measured in the browser and not just in a test tool.

Plugins

Every plugin costs maintenance, and many cost loading time. We review what is really needed, what interferes with what and what can safely be removed.

Setting up the SEO plugin properly

Rank Math or Yoast generate titles, canonicals, sitemaps and schema. Set up wrongly, archives, attachments or test pages end up in the index. We tidy up and document the settings.

Structured data

Organisation, services, articles, people and products are marked up so that the data fits together and no duplicate or contradictory details arise.

Multilingual setups

WPML and other solutions quickly produce faulty language links. We check hreflang, translation mapping and language-specific titles and addresses.

Content and internal linking

Page titles, headings, texts and links between services, blog and glossary are aligned with search terms and user questions, together with our content team.

1

Analysis

We crawl the website, measure loading times and review theme, plugins and settings.

2

Setting up staging

We work on a copy of the website. The live site stays untouched until you approve the changes.

3

Backing up and implementing

Before every change we back up the previous state. We check bulk changes to the database for validity before saving.

4

Checking in the browser

We measure the effect in the browser, on desktop and mobile, and test forms, menus and language versions.

5

Change log

You receive a list of all changes with before and after. This keeps what was done traceable.

6

Go-live and checks

After the changes have been transferred to the live site, we check indexability, sitemaps, caches and loading times again.

Typical SEO errors in WordPress

These findings come from WordPress projects in 2026, anonymised here.

  • Oversized images: original photos of four to seven megabytes were delivered without resizing. The main content only became visible after 15 seconds.
  • Hard-coded addresses: texts and settings contained 2,136 links with the full domain. After a move, such links point to the old address or run through redirects.
  • Wrong data in the schema: one website output the details of another company in its organisation schema because the template had been taken over from a sister project.
  • Settings without effect: a filter in the theme was supposed to exclude certain pages from the sitemap but never worked, because the SEO plugin passes the data in a different format.
  • Search engines locked out: the option “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” was still active after the move from the test environment.

If a new theme or a change of system is coming up, we support it with SEO relaunch support. The technical SEO page explains the technical foundations.
