Three factors are decisive

Google itself names what matters for local results: relevance, distance and prominence. You cannot change the distance, but you can influence the other two.

Profile and website belong together

A well-maintained Business Profile without a matching page on the website wastes potential, and vice versa. We work on both together.

The basis for AI answers

AI assistants also draw on profiles, reviews and location pages when recommending something nearby. Consistent, complete data therefore pays off twice.

Google Business Profile

Categories, services, opening hours, photos, posts and questions: we complete the profile, remove duplicates and make sure changes are maintained over time.

Location pages

Every location needs its own page with real content: directions, contacts, services at that location. We create the concept and check whether the pages are indexed.

Consistent business data

Name, address and phone number have to be the same everywhere: on the website, in the profile and in directories. Discrepancies confuse users and search engines.

Reviews

We set up a process for asking all customers for a review and provide guidance on factual replies, including to criticism.

Local structured data

LocalBusiness markup with address, opening hours and coordinates helps search engines attribute location and offer without doubt.

Local content and links

Pages on services with a local reference, mentions in regional media, by associations and partners: this builds the prominence Google names as the third factor.

1

Taking stock

We record all locations, profiles and directory listings and check where details are missing or differ from one another.

2

Search terms and competition

We determine what people search for locally and who is ahead of you on the map.

3

Optimising profiles

We revise the Business Profiles and clean up duplicate or outdated entries.

4

Building location pages

We deliver structure and texts for the location pages and coordinate the technical implementation with your agency.

5

Reviews and mentions

We set up the review process and build local mentions and links.

6

Reporting

You see regularly how views, calls, requests for directions and rankings develop per location.

 Local visibility

Do you appear on the map when someone nearby searches?

We check it for your most important search terms and locations.

 Many locations, one structure

Local SEO for branches and location networks

For companies with many locations, structure is decisive. We see these points in projects again and again:

  • Location pages are not indexed: in one project in 2026, only around 60 per cent of the location pages were in the Google index. The rest were too thin, too similar or hardly linked internally.
  • Locations sit on a third-party subdomain: if location pages are served by an external service, they benefit little from the strength of the main domain.
  • Profiles without an owner: opening hours on public holidays, new phone numbers and questions from users are left unattended if nobody is responsible.
  • Copied texts: the same description for every location with only the place name swapped convinces neither users nor Google.

We clarify the technical side, from indexing to structured data, as part of our technical SEO. Local ads complement organic visibility; see search engine advertising for more.
