About Ahmed

From Marrakesh to Bonn.

Ahmed learned software development and studied computer science in Marrakesh. Alongside his degree and afterwards, he worked there for around two and a half years as a full-stack developer, among other things on an inventory management solution and on web applications for business clients.

In 2023 he joined Rheinwunder in Bonn. Because his Moroccan qualification was not recognised in Germany, he also earned the German vocational qualification as an IT specialist for application development alongside his job, in just two years. Since June 2025 he has led the development team.

What Ahmed's work is built on

Ahmed combines a computer science degree, several years of hands-on work as a full-stack developer and responsibility for the technical infrastructure of an online marketing agency. With the team he makes sure that tracking servers and our own tools run reliably, securely and fast.

Server-side tagging

Since 2025, Ahmed has been running the server-side tagging infrastructure together with his colleague Abdeljalil Amejrar and Ralph Grundmann: preview and live servers for Google Tag Manager in the Azure cloud, Docker containers, dedicated subdomains, monitoring and updates. In-house tools and APIs

Ahmed built the token and credit API for two of Rheinwunder’s WordPress plugins so that their use can be billed via credits: user management, token authentication and a credit system as a REST interface. Together with the team he develops the other Rheinwunder tools.

Full stack

Frontend with React and Angular, backend with Spring Boot and Laravel, plus database design with SQL and NoSQL. For desktop applications and batch processing he uses Electron.js and Spring Batch.

Training as a specialised technician in software development: analysis and design, database design, object-oriented programming with C, C# and ADO.NET, interfaces for Windows, the web and Android.

Internship in Marrakesh: database management and web design, plus development, documentation and testing.
